CLEAN-AFRICA, together with the African Good Governance Network (AGGN), are holding a Good Governance Debate Series (GGDS 2017) on the Topic: „The Refugee Crisis is the BRAIN-CHILD of EU failed Policies Not Climate Change”. We welcome graduate and postgraduate students, as well as researchers from the “North” and “South” with interest in Sustainable Development to apply.

The objective of the debates is to:

  1.  Inform and sensitize the Participants about the development policies of the EU and its member states – especially by discussing the Agenda 2030;
  2. Encourage active engagements and critically examination of the North-South development policies, especially regarding policy application and implementation of development projects;
  3. Create awareness for development policies whilst encouraging mutual understanding and coherent responsibility regarding resource utilization in a world that belongs to both hemispheres.

The program offers participants the opportunity not only to network, engage in dialogue and debate, broaden their knowledge on the implications of migration and sustainable development, but also have their public speaking skills enhanced through a free training workshop.
