Issue 1 of new Social Sciences Journal
The first issue of the Journal of Sociology and Development, edited by AGGN fellow Dr. George Mutalemwa, has been published in February 2017. Among others, it carries a feature of AGGN fellow Blaise Muhire on "Legal pluralism, customary authority and conflict in Masisi (eastern) Demroratic Republic of Congo".
The new peer reviewed scientific Journal was founded last year at at the St. Augustine University of Tanzania to publish scholarlyoriginal empirical research and theoretical contributions in the fields of sociology and development studies with a multidisciplinary and global perspective with a focus on the African continent.
